I am currently recruiting for a Quality Control Engineer to work for a leading Engineering organisation in Hounslow. Paying up to £32,000 - OTE £44,400. The organisation is an industry leading company that is delivering a range of world class products into specialist markets. They have a team of highly motivated individuals that are extremely driven and pride themselves on delivering their innovative portfolio of products and engineering expertise to clients across the globe.
Due to their continued success, the organisation has the need to appoint a Quality Control Engineer on a permanent basis. In this role as a Quality Control Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring world class quality standards are maintained through end of line inspections, using both visual inspection and measurement techniques on individual components and finished products. This will accumulate to about 50% of your time. You will also oversee final documentation checks and sign off prior to dispatch. Whilst you won't be creating the documentation you will be responsible for coordinating it all and ensuring it's in the final pack before shipment. This could be internal coordination or externally getting the necessary compliance certificates from suppliers. This will equate to around 30% of your time and the remaining 20% will be made up by managing non-conformity procedures, carrying out root cause analysis (RCAs), goods in inspections and handling customer returns.
Essential Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years experience as a Quality Control Engineer, Quality Engineer, Quality Technician or similar
- Worked in a Manufacturing environment
