I am currently recruiting for a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to work for an organisation based in Surrey, with a salary of up to £28,000 + Benefits. They are a well-respected organisation that has been in operation for over 60 years and are creating market-leading products that are disrupting the industry they operate within across numerous sites in the UK.
To support the amount of workload they have and in line with their growth plans, they need to appoint a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing a range of products within the client's portfolio. This will include new product development as well as modifications and alterations to existing products. This will be a hands-on role, and you will be expected to work in the lab, which will include building and assembling test equipment enabling you to test the products that have been developed.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Design or similar
- Experience with 3D CAD (Ideally Solidworks)
