I am currently recruiting for a General Manager to work for a leading engineering organisation based in Devon. Fantastic Salary + Bonus + Benefits.
The company are leaders within their field of expertise and are seen as the go to organisation within their specialist product area, not only in the UK, but on an international basis. They have multiple offices throughout the UK, as well as being strategically positioned throughout the world. They have gone from strength to strength over recent years and via organic growth as well as a range of acquisitions they have strengthened their client offering ensuring they stay at the forefront of the market.
To support the growth of the business they now have the need to appoint a General Manager on a 12-month FTC.
In this role as a General Manager, you will oversee a team of over 100 people which will include Engineering, Supply Chain, Production and Quality. You will be responsible for overseeing the manufacture of the products as well as supporting with facility expansion initiatives.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience as a General Manager, Head of Operations or similar
- Previous experience leading operations within a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience overseeing multi-disciplined departments
- Previous experience with Continuous Improvement activities
Desirable Requirements:
- Previous experience in a highly regulated industry
- Immediate Availability
