I'm currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to work for a world leading engineering organisation based in Germany. Salary up to €75,000 + Commission + Benefits.
The organisation has been in operation for over 100 years and they are experts within their area of specialism which is recognised internationally. Supporting this, they have sold their highly sophisticated products into nearly 150 countries, have over 5,000 customers and turnover north of £10 million.
To support the growth of the business, they have an incredibly exciting opportunity as they look to appoint their first sales professional in Germany. In this role as a Business Development Manager, you will primarily be responsible for new business specification sales. Despite it being a new role, they already have existing customers within the region and estimates suggest your time will be spent 70:30 in favour of new business development and account management and development with existing customers. This is a hunter focused role and you will be out meeting customers as often as possible to break down doors with a view of winning new business and ultimately being specified for future projects.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager or similar
- Spoken German
- Spoken English
- Experience selling electro-mechanical products or systems

- Experience with Specification sales
