About the opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga By joining our nationwide Farm Source store team, you’re joining a group of agricultural experts and setting yourself up for an outstanding career. We are looking for a superstar sales specialist to join our local Rakaia store. You’ll provide sound farming product advice to our loyal customers. You’ll be involved in everything from merchandising and customer service to deliveries, making this a dynamic and engaging role. With the opportunity to hone your agricultural expertise and explore multiple career pathways throughout the wider business, this is an excellent place to start. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 8 am till 5 pm, with rostered Saturdays. You’ll be a self-motivated, adaptable team member with excellent customer service and communication skills. A high level of physical fitness is required, as the role involves manual handling, such as lifting 25kg bags of product daily. Ideally, you’ll have some prior customer service or sales experience and a connection to the agricultural industry. However, we are also open to candidates looking to make a move straight off farm or those who are current customer experts eager to learn more about the ag/dairy industry. Other key qualities we’re seeking include: Rural experience (beneficial but not essential) A good level of physical fitness – you’ll have no trouble getting your daily steps in!
