Based on the original stories of Mike and Alison Battle ‘Lapland’, the show, is a ground-breaking immersive theatrical production that brings to life the mythical elven world of Father Christmas. Lapland celebrates the wonderment of childhood through our magical world, rich story telling & memory making experiences.

As a Back of House Assistant, you will play a crucial backstage role in preparing the activities our guests enjoy in either the Toy Factory or Mother Christmas’ Kitchen. You will be responsible for assembling products and ensuring the production line runs efficiently. Attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will be essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assemble, package, and label products according to production specifications.
  • Monitor the production process to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Inspect materials and finished products for defects and take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to meet production targets.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and Stage Management to optimise production processes and solve any issues that may arise.
  • Adhere to all company policies, including safety regulations and quality standards.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 12kg of weight.
  • Standing, walking, and repetitive motions for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a production environment is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.

Lapland is based in Whitmoor Forest, in Crown Estate on Swinley Road, Winkfield Row near Ascot SL5 8BD.

Key Dates

  • PAID TRAINING: Your training plan will vary depending on your role. Training will take place on select dates between the end of October 2025 and the beginning of November 2025, training is mandatory.
  • Hourly pay of £12.25 per hour, plus holiday pay which is paid at the end of your contract
