Avari Homes is looking for a motivated Trainee Estimator to join our Pre-Construction team in Kingsley, Pontefract. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong numeracy, problem-solving skills and a keen interest in construction to build a rewarding career with a growing local housebuilder.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the Estimating team with take-offs, enquiries, and cost documents
- Working with colleagues across commercial and with members of the wider team as required
- Visiting live and proposed sites to support appraisals and cost planning
- Maintaining cost and subcontractor databases
- Developing skills to progress into an Assistant Estimator role
