About the Role

We’re looking for a Skilled Operative to join our team at our site in Wednesbury.

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 07:00-16:00

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out finished product weight checks against a scheduled frequency to ensure legal compliance.
  • Carrying out label checks against a scheduled frequency to ensure legal compliance.
  • Setting up printers including date coding on pack, correctly for each product run, against customer guidelines.
  • Maintain traceability of ingredients, raw material and finished product to ensure product due diligence.
  • Stock control enforcement, including managing fixed and WIP stock, reviewing paperwork and identifying any close to use by and out of use by material, to report to Section Manager.
  • Carrying out product temperature checks against a scheduled frequency to ensure legal compliance and due diligence.
  • Check QUID values against declared, on a scheduled frequency to ensure legal compliance.
  • Record all rework reasons for report produced by Production Manager.

  • A good level of English and basic numeracy skills.
  • The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
  • Good attention to detail and a responsible attitude to tasks.
  • Be self-motivated and able to work to tight deadlines.
