Working Hours:
- 40 per week
- Week 1 – 07:30 to 16:30 Monday to Friday
- Week 2 – 15:45 to 00:45 Sunday and 16:30 to 01:30 Monday to Thursday
About the role:
As a production operative in Post Chill you’ll be involved in the production and packaging of raw food products. You’ll work in a fast‑paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.
Duties:
- Weigh and label products in steel bins ensuring they are sealed and covered
- Maintain safe operation of pallet trucks
- Transport products to dispatch as required
- Manual handling including lifting equipment and products up to 20kg
What are we looking for?
- Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
- The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
- Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
- Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
