Shift Pattern: Average of 42 hours per week across a rolling 5‑week rotation covering days and nights:
- Day Shift: 07:00 – 19:00
- Night Shift: 19:00 – 07:00

Every 20 weeks there is an additional CI weekend shift (Saturday & Sunday days), falling between Week 5 and Week 1.

We are looking for skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineers to join our Engineering team in Hereford. Whether you are a Level 2 Single Skilled Engineer looking to broaden your expertise or an experienced Level 3 Multi Skilled Engineer, this is an opportunity to develop your career within a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment.
You will play a key role in:
- Maximising equipment reliability
- Minimising downtime

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on production machinery
- Diagnose faults quickly and implement effective repairs
- Maintain conveyors, processing equipment, and packaging machinery
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and hygiene standards
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and safety
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Complete maintenance documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain accurate Engineering stores stock records
Level 2 – Single Skilled Engineer Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Previous maintenance engineering experience
- Strong fault‑finding ability within your core discipline
- Experience within manufacturing or production environments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Desire to develop additional engineering disciplines and progress your career
Level 3 – Multi Skilled Engineer Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi‑Skilled Engineering
- Proven experience as a multi‑skilled maintenance engineer
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding skills
- Experience with VSDs, PLC systems, and automated production lines advantageous
- Knowledge of food manufacturing and hygiene standards desirable
- Experience with process machinery desirable
- Motivated to continue professional development and further education
