About the Role

Joining our Logistics team as an Operative in Despatch you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers get the correct orders on time and at the same high quality they have come to expect. You will be given the opportunity to train and develop throughout our clear progression pathways. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Warehouse experience but wants to develop it further, or someone who just fancies a change in direction!

For this role, it is essential that a candidate has a Counterbalance Forklift Licence.

Day to day role will involve:

  • Loading and unloading products using counterbalance
  • Scanning, wrapping and palletising products
  • Performing final quality checks on products
  • Using electric pallet trucks, counterbalance and reach vehicles
  • Recording and rotating chilled food products
  • Ensuring paperwork and delivery orders are completed and recorded

  • £13.75 per hour (paid weekly) + £2.00 UNS for hours worked between 18:00 and 06:00

What are we looking for?

  • Counterbalance Forklift License. This is ESSENTIAL and needs to be evidenced on your CV.
  • The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
  • Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
  • Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
