Overview

Weekend Hygiene Operatives at our Hereford, Herefordshire site. Earn a minimum of £285 per week. 1800-0600 Saturday and 1800-0200 Sunday. No experience necessary, full training is provided.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Team Leader, contribute to achieving the required hygiene standards with the Hygiene team for Avara Foods.
  • Adhere to health and safety at all times and follow tasks in line with food safety rules.
  • Understand and attain both individual and department targets.
  • Be aware of the usage of material and energy sources.
  • Co-operate in the continuous improvement of quality, safety and productivity standards.
  • Manual handling of plant and equipment.
  • Isolation of plant and machinery.
  • Meet housekeeping and hygiene standards individually and as part of a team.
  • Comply with food safety and HSE guidelines.
  • Carry out instructions as given by your Team Leader/Management.

What we are looking for

  • Good level of English and basic numeracy skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
  • Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks.
  • Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
