About The Role

Avara Foods Technical Placement Programme 2026 – 2027. Do you have a passion for Technical? Committed to maintaining and improving high standards? Are you a Food Science / Technology student looking for a 12‑month placement in industry?

As an inclusive, forward‑thinking business, we take pride in our approach to Technical across Avara Foods and are looking for a highly competent and motivated Technical Placement Student to join our Technical Team, based at our advanced processing site in Brackley, Northamptonshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Control of Quality Management System, accurate maintenance, document control revision of procedures and forms
  • Support QA tasks such as QAS verification
  • Submit lab sample data
  • Planning, organisation and communication trials
  • Co‑ordinating sampling
  • Completion of technical information and project work

  • A team player but with the ability to work effectively independently
  • Adaptable to varied situations
  • Excellent at communicating with a variety of stakeholders and colleagues
  • Comfortable getting hands‑on
  • Driven to achieve results and find solutions
  • On course to be achieving a minimum of a 2:2 degree, ideally with a bias in food science degree
