We’re looking for a Skilled Operative to join our team at our site in Wednesbury.
Working Hours
4 on 4 off 05.30 to 18.00
About the Role
- Part of the Production Team, conducting checks, documenting, recording against company procedures to legal compliance in food manufacturing.
- Carrying out finished product weight checks to ensure legal compliance.
- Performing label checks to ensure legal compliance.
- Setting up printers including date coding on packs for each product run, in accordance with customer guidelines.
- Maintaining traceability of ingredients, raw material, and finished product.
- Enforcing stock control, including managing fixed and WIP stock, reviewing paperwork, identifying close to use by and out of use by material, and reporting to Section Manager.
- Conducting product temperature checks to ensure legal compliance and due diligence.
- Checking QUID values against declared values at scheduled frequencies.
- Recording all rework reasons for reports produced by the Production Manager.
