About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join the team at our Ower Hatchery. In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing essential administrative support to the site, ensuring records are accurately maintained and processes run smoothly, and to provide a front of house service to meet and greet our visitors. You’ll be a key part of the day-to-day operation, supporting the hatchery team with documentation, data entry and communication. This is a part-time position, ideal for someone looking to balance work with other commitments, while still being part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment. We will consider alternative hours for the right candidate.
Working hours
Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 15:00 32.5 hours per week
Responsibilities
- General administrative support to the hatchery management team
- Front of house / meet and greet our visitors at the hatchery gate
- Maintaining accurate records and databases
- Supporting with stock control documentation and ordering
- Data entry and updating internal systems
- Handling site communications and reporting
- Assisting with audits and compliance paperwork
Qualifications
- Adherence to health and safety and bio security rules
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
