About the Role We are seeking a highly competent Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering Team at our Brackley site. The role is factory-based, working in a fast-paced FMCG environment with areas of noise and refrigeration, producing short shelf-life products with strict hygiene standards. Working Hours Friday: 10.00 – 19.00 Saturday: 07.00 – 19.00 Sunday: 07.00 – 19.00 Monday: 07.00 – 16.00 Key Responsibilities Lead during breakdowns using your skills and experience. Perform maintenance according to schedule and address corrective actions efficiently. Respond quickly to breakdowns, identify root causes, and suggest improvements. Communicate breakdowns to the Engineering Shift Manager and work with operations to minimize disruption. Follow engineering standards and hygiene practices. Adhere to health and safety regulations and report issues. Use problem-solving techniques to identify root causes. Raise stock and non-stock requests. Utilize the CMMS system for managing spare parts and logging jobs. Candidate Requirements Advanced Apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical disciplines (BTEC, NVQ Level 3, HNC, HND). Experience in food manufacturing preferred. Knowledge of process machinery and fault-finding skills. Mechanical fitting skills. Ability to mentor others. Self-motivated, capable of multitasking in a deadline-driven environment. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Team player with a proactive attitude. Desirable: Welding, machining, fabrication, refrigeration, electrical qualifications, PLCs, VSDs, control systems.
