Purpose Of The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be a key player in ensuring the consistent smooth running of factory machinery including planned maintenance and reactive repairs, along with continually looking for ways to improve future processes.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities as a Multi-Skilled Engineer will include:

  1. Performing reactive breakdown repairs.
  2. Carrying out planned preventative maintenance.
  3. Recording all documentation accurately and on time.
  4. Improving equipment reliability, stamping out recurring faults.
  5. Ensuring ‘audit ready’ records are kept.

What We Are Looking For

  1. Previous experience as a multi-disciplined Engineer.
  2. An electrical bias with sound mechanical knowledge.
  3. Engineering Apprenticeship or qualifications at Level 3 or equivalent.
  4. Previous experience within the food or FMCG industry would be beneficial.

Working Hours

A 4-week rota including one Saturday in 4. Week 1: Monday – Thursday 05:30 – 13:30 + Friday 05:30 – 12:30; Week 2: Monday – Thursday 13:00 – 21:00 + Friday 13:00 – 20:00; Week 3: Monday – Thursday 05:30 – 13:30 + Friday 05:30 – 12:30; Week 4: Monday – Thursday 13:30 – 21:00, Friday 11:00 – 18:00 + Saturday 06:00 – 18:00.
