Training for this role will be required during core hygiene hours of 18:00 - 03:00.

About The Role

As a

Hygiene Operative you’ll ensure cleanliness, hygiene, quality and safety standards are met by achieving agreed cleaning standards for production areas and machinery.

You’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf-life products where hygiene standards are critical.

  • Achieving agreed quality standards relating to cleaning instruction cards and training.
  • Cleaning all factory equipment and machinery to deadlines, ready for production to start.
  • The use of pressure washers and chemicals.
  • Removal of debris from production areas.
  • Disassembling and reassembling factory equipment to aid cleaning. Manual handling which can include lifting equipment and products up to 20kg.
  • What You’ll Need To Be Successful
  • Use of own vehicle and valid driving licence.
  • Good level of English and basic numeracy skills.
  • Basic hygiene training/qualifications such as COSHH.
  • The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
  • Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks.
  • Experience within a food production/manufacturing environment.
