We own and manage our entire supply chain, from farms to factory and all the way to the customer door, with major processing sites across England and Wales and an agricultural network of over 350 farms spanning from North Yorkshire to the South Coast and Wales.
The HRIS Administrator is responsible for the effective operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organisation’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role supports data integrity, system users, HR reporting, and optimises HR processes through technology. You will be working Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00.
- HR System Administration
- Maintain and administer the HRIS (iTrent), ensuring it is configured correctly and runs efficiently.
- Manage system updates, patches, and upgrades in collaboration with vendors and IT.
- Configure organisational structures, workflows, and business rules.
- Data Management & Integrity
- Ensure accurate and timely input of employee data.
- Perform regular audits and data validation checks.
- Maintain data governance standards and GDPR compliance.
- User Support & Training
- Act as first- and second-line support for HR system users.
- Troubleshoot system issues and escalates where necessary.
- Develop user guides and deliver training sessions for HR and managers.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Produce standard and ad‑hoc reports (e.g., headcount, absence, turnover).
- Build dashboards and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports.
- Process Improvement
- Review and enhance HR processes using system capability.
- Support automation of workflows (e.g., onboarding, approvals).
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Integration & Payroll Support
- Work closely with Payroll to ensure accurate data feeds (hours, changes, benefits).
- Support system integrations with other platforms.
- Project Support
- Support HR system projects, upgrades, and implementations.
- Participate in testing cycles (UAT).
- Assist with data migration and system configuration changes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in payroll processes and systems.
- Essential
- Experience administering an HRIS (e.g., iTrent, Workday, SAP, Oracle, SuccessFactors).
- Strong data management and Excel/reporting skills.
- Understanding of HR processes (employee lifecycle, payroll inputs).
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
- Desirable
- Experience with HR reporting tools or BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Knowledge of UK HR practices and data protection (GDPR).
- Experience supporting system implementations or upgrades.
