Working hours
Monday – Friday 06:00 – 15:00. There may be occasions when you will be required to stay later to ensure tasks are completed.
About The Role
As a Team Leader in the Primary department you will support the Section Managers in managing the intake, processing and grading of turkeys in order to meet the departments KPIs. You’ll be working in a fast paced, dynamic FMCG environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Supporting the on-going training for all staff in your team including new starters and agency.
- Ensuring product is correctly processed and prepared.
- Regularly reporting KPI data.
- Escalating issues to management in a timely manner.
- Conducting product checks to ensure safe cutting temperatures and product integrity.
- Minimising downtime of equipment by checking proper set up and changeover processes are followed.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful
- Good level of English and basic numeracy skills.
- The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
- Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks.
- Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
