Feedmill Production Operative

Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire

Salary: £40,583.69 per annum

Hours: Rotating shifts – 06:00 to 18:00 and 18:00 to 06:00

We’re looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Feedmill Production Operatives at our Banbury Feedmill.

About The Role

As a Feedmill Production Operative, you’ll work alongside the Shift Leader to ensure the smooth running of feed manufacturing and production. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and hygiene while ensuring feed is produced to meet our nutritional and physical standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate production processes in line with feed specifications, quality, and HSE guidelines
  • Complete daily paperwork and use the DSL computer system
  • Report any issues promptly and monitor pest control measures
  • Carry out stock checks and maintain accurate records
  • Uphold housekeeping and hygiene standards (e.g. cleaning silos, coolers, pits)
  • Operate forklift trucks and site vehicles as required

What we’re looking for

  • Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • High attention to detail and a flexible, proactive attitude
  • Experience in a production or manufacturing environment (desirable but not essential)
  • Forklift licence (desirable)
  • HACCP Level 2 and First Aid training (desirable)
