We are continuing to operate and are looking for motivated people to join our team as a Hygiene Operative at our Feed Mill in Westbury, Wiltshire. Purpose of the role

Working closely with the feed mill production team, you will ensure the feed mill is always clean, tidy, and compliant with industry and customer standards. You will carry out daily duties to support the efficient running of Westbury mill operations. Tasks will include a variety of duties carried out daily in accordance with customer specifications and task procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Cleaning internal mill areas using vacuum systems and other tools/products to remove dust and spillages, and keeping external areas clean and presentable
  • Alerting maintenance teams or management of any issues with plant machinery
  • Working in adherence with all health and safety standards
  • Covering production personnel during breaks and annual leave
  • Helping obtain samples from the mill environment for laboratory analysis
  • Working independently to manage workload and complete tasks efficiently
  • Working as part of a job share with effective shift handovers
  • May be required to cover alternate shifts during periods of absence

  • Counterbalance forklift licence
  • Previous experience in hygiene and production environments
  • Knowledge or experience in animal feed or agriculture
