Training, Compliance & Safety Officer – Feedmill, Westbury

Salary: Up to £37,000 per year DOE

Hours: 40 hours/week – Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00

Your Role

We’re looking for a proactive and safety-focused Training, Compliance & Safety Officer to join our Agriculture team at the Westbury Feedmill. You’ll play a key role in ensuring site compliance with health & safety and training standards, supporting audits, developing procedures, and conducting risk assessments. You’ll also be involved in onboarding new staff, delivering toolbox talks, and monitoring ongoing training needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and review risk assessments and procedures
  • Lead site inspections and compliance reporting
  • Support incident investigations and audits
  • Manage hygiene and training standards
  • Deliver training and competency reviews
  • Liaise with other safety officers to share best practices

What You'll Need

  • IOSH qualification (required)
  • NEBOSH qualification (preferred)
  • Experience delivering training (required)
  • Internal auditing experience and knowledge of safety regulations (desirable)
  • Experience in agriculture or similar environments (a plus)
