As an inclusive, forward-thinking business, we take pride in our approach to Technical across Avara Foods and are looking for a highly competent and motivated Technical Placement Student to join our Technical Team, based at our advanced processing site in Wednesbury. Your working hours would be Monday to Friday 08.00-17.00.

Your key responsibilities as a Technical Placement Student will include:
- Assisting the Product Specifications Co-Ordinator & Production team with both new and existing products (QAS & Specifications)
- Control of Quality Management System, accurate maintenance, document control revision of procedures and forms
- Co-ordination of GMP audits, ensuring all areas are regularly assessed to maintain compliance
- Submit lab sample data
- Planning, organisation and communication trials
- Co-ordinating sampling
- Completion of technical information and project work
What we are looking for:
- A passionate and ambitious Food Science / Technology Undergraduate
- A team player but with the ability to work effectively independently
- Adaptable to varied situations
- Excellent at communicating with a variety of stakeholders and colleagues
- Comfortable getting hands-on
- Driven to achieve results and find solutions
- On course to be achieving a minimum of a 2:2 degree, ideally with a bias in food science degree
