About the role:
Asa Warehouse Operativeyou’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.
- Ensuring all products are correctly stacked, wrapped
- Using the WMS system to scan product to stock and applying the correct labels to pallets.
- Picking and scanning of customer orders using the WMS system to ensure you are using the correct product and use by dates as per the customer specification.
- Taking accurate product temperatures and recording information to ensure product is within the correct temperature specification.
- Loading of vehicles using the WMS system to ascertain all orders are accurate before loading takes place.
- Scanning product onto the vehicles and loading them in the correct order.
- Receiving returned product, checking the paperwork to ascertain why it has been returned and communicate as required.
- Scanning product for stock takes when required.
- Effectively communicate with other staff in dispatch and production.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Good level ofEnglishand basic numeracy skills
- The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
- Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
- Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
