Your key responsibilities as a Technical Assistant will include:
- Assisting the Product Specifications Coordinator and Production teams with new and existing product specifications and quality assurance activities
- Supporting the control and maintenance of the Quality Management System, including document control and revision of procedures and forms
- Coordinating GMP audits, ensuring all areas are regularly assessed to maintain compliance standards
- Submitting laboratory sample data and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting the planning, organisation and communication of factory trials
- Coordinating product and environmental sampling activities
- Assisting with technical projects and completion of technical information requests
- Supporting continuous improvement activities across the Technical function
What we are looking for:
We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual who is keen to develop your career within Technical and Food Manufacturing. You may be:
- A recent graduate with a degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline
- Someone with previous technical, quality or food manufacturing experience looking to further their career
You’ll also be:
- A strong team player with the ability to work independently when required
- Adaptable and able to manage changing priorities
- An effective communicator who can build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a factory environment and taking a hands‑on approach
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
- Driven to achieve results, solve problems and continuously improve processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
