About the Role
Join our team as a Technical Operative.
Responsibilities
- To follow instructions on a daily basis from the Process Leader in order to maintain an effective process.
- To carry out common and procedural machine interventions.
- To ensure that the metal detectors are operational and escalated where defects are identified.
- To make sure all label check sheets are completed in accordance with the procedure.
- To ensure that the line is prepared to conduct effective product and/or tool change overs.
- To provide preventative maintenance regarding labelling equipment, ensuring all printouts are clean.
- To make sure that the line is operating smoothly and correctly.
- To follow instructions from the Engineering Section Manager where out of production work is required, to maintain machinery.
- To ensure that the line does not run until all standards are met, check sheets are signed and authorisation is given.
- To counter-sign all label check sheets and ensure they are completed in accordance with the procedure.
- To provide preventative maintenance on all equipment.
Working Hours
4O4O 05:30 - 18:00 B Shift
Benefits

What do I need to be successful?
- A good level of English and basic numeracy skill.
- A passion for rebuilding, inspecting and correcting mechanical issues.
- Ability to work closely with other departments including Engineering and Production.
- Ability to strip and rebuild mechanical items.
- Any previous experience ideal.
