About the role
The Quality Auditor will report into the Quality Manager, and you will be responsible for ensuring that all quality checks are carried out to the correct standard and any non-conformances are reported immediately to the relevant Section and Quality Manager.
Key responsibilities as a Quality Auditor
- Product Quality QAS – Inspecting product against customer quality contract agreements
- Monitor product quality to ensure it meets required parameters from intake through to customer delivery, including efficient & accurate data entry and reporting
- Factory audits – GMP, NPD, Glass and Plastics, CCP – conduct against a scheduled frequency to ensure good manufacturing practice at site
- Product control against legal and customer requirements, verifying and validating legal compliance in food manufacturing
- Product sampling against micro schedule / Hand and Glove swabbing against micro schedule
- Paperwork verification/validation – completion of the required process control verification documentation ensures all paperwork is completed in full, in line with company procedures and legal requirements
- Carry out verification checks of calibration of measuring equipment in accordance with the schedule
- Participate in TACCP and VACCP teams where applicable
- To be aware of and adhere to Health and Safety Procedures, encouraging safe working behaviours
- Traceability – supporting the QA Process Leader in conducting Traceability in accordance with the scheduled frequency and as required
