Do you want to earn a minimum of £12.75 per hour? We’re looking for a Hygiene Operative and Step up Process Leader to join our team at our site in Caistor, North Lincolnshire.

Working Hours: 40 hours per week with the choice between shift patterns:

  • Option 1: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 18:00 – 03:00
  • Option 2: Saturday, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday 18:00 – 05:00
  • Option 3: Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday 18:00 – 05:00

As a Hygiene Operative, you’ll ensure cleanliness, hygiene, quality and safety standards are met by achieving agreed cleaning standards for production areas and machinery. This role also stands up into a Process Leader position on Sunday, performing visual inspections and sign-offs for the hygiene operations that day. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf-life products where hygiene standards are critical.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Achieving agreed quality standards relating to cleaning instruction cards and training.
  • Cleaning all factory equipment and machinery to deadlines, ready for production to start.
  • Inspection and sign-off of Hygiene Operations when in the Process Leader role.
  • The use of pressure washers and chemicals.
  • Removal of debris from production areas.
  • Disassembling and reassembling factory equipment to aid cleaning.
  • Manual handling which can include lifting equipment and products up to 20kg.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Good level of English and basic numeracy skills.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role.
  • Basic hygiene training/qualifications such as COSHH.
  • The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
  • Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks.
  • Experience within a food production/manufacturing environment.
