We’re looking for a Hatchery Operative to join our Boxwash team at our Hatchery in Shobdon, Herefordshire!

No experience necessary, full training is provided!

• Tuesday 15:00-21:00
• Wednesday 15:00 – 21:00
• Thursday 14:30 – 20:30

Week 2 –

• Sunday 06:00 – 12:00
• Monday 14:30 – 20:30
• Thursday 14:30 – 20:30
• Friday 15:00 – 21:00

Week 3 –

• Sunday 06:00 – 12:00
• Monday 14:30 – 20:30
• Tuesday 15:00 – 21:00
• Wednesday 15:00 – 21:00

Week 4 –

About the role

As a Hatchery Operative, working as part of the Hatchery Team, you’ll help assist the hatchery and play a key role in the daily duties which are fundamental to our entire business.

• Cleaning all equipment after use to the required high standards
• Safeguarding bio security and following these strict procedures
• Observing bird welfare and health and safety on site at all times

What are we looking for?

• A good level of English and basic numeracy skills
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
• Relevant experience is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.

Due to Bird Welfare, it is essential that you do not own any Avian Pets or Poultry.
