We are looking for a highly competent and motivated Oracle Fusion ERP Functional Specialist (Finance) to join our team, the role is office based and based either at our Brackley or Hereford sites.

What will you be doing as an ERP Functional Specialist (Finance)?
The Oracle Fusion ERP Functional Specialist (Finance) will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and support of Oracle Fusion ERP financial applications. This role requires a deep understanding of financial processes and the ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications. The ideal candidate will be a recently qualified accountant with a keen interest in leveraging technology to optimize financial operations.
What will your key responsibilities as an ERP Functional Specialist (Finance)?
Implementation and Configuration
- Lead the implementation and configuration of Oracle Fusion ERP financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
Financial Expertise and Process Improvement
- Provide expertise in financial best practices and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
System Deployment and Support
- Conduct system testing, user training, and support during the deployment phase.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle Fusion ERP financial applications.
Documentation
- Develop and maintain documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and user guides.
Keeping Updated
- Stay current with Oracle Fusion ERP updates and new features and assess their impact on existing financial systems.
What you’ll need to be successful:
Essential
- Foundational Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP financial modules, such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Familiarity with financial processes like invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
- Exposure to Oracle Fusion applications or similar ERP systems.
- Willingness to learn reporting tools like OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence).
- Ability to support troubleshooting under supervision.
- A proactive attitude in identifying and escalating issues.
- Good communication skills for working with stakeholders and team members.
- Willingness to assist with user training and documentation.
- Enthusiasm for learning Oracle Fusion ERP tools and processes.
Desirable
- Entry-Level Certifications:
- Interest in pursuing Oracle certifications like Oracle Financials Cloud Essentials.
