About the Role:
We’re looking for anEgg Room Operative to joinour teamat our Hatchery in Shobdon, Herefordshire!
No experience necessary, full training is provided!
- £13.10 per hour + £0.21 shift premium
- Training and development from day one

Working Hours
- Pulling the day sets.
- Setting of eggs at designated time.
- Unloading egg lorries.
- Fumigation of eggs.
- Sorting and storing eggs in flocks.
- Traying eggs from farm trolleys to setter trolleys. (weight of trays between 9kg – 13kg lifting above head height)
- Daily hygiene tasks.
- Unloading/loading via forklift, (training will be given)
What are we looking for?
- A good level of English and basic numeracy skills
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
- Relevant experience is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
