A little about our Telford site: Our advanced manufacturing site in Telford is one of our main processing facilities, processing up to 1.5 million birds per week. There are over 1,200 talented people employed at our Telford site, helping us to deliver high quality products to our customers and making the business a trusted leader in fresh foods. We’ve recently invested £2.3 million in technology and equipment, making it one of the most advanced food manufacturing facilities in the UK.
Joining our Logistics team as an Operative in Despatch you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers get the correct orders on time and at the same high quality they have come to expect. You will be given the opportunity to train and develop throughout our clear progression pathways. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Warehouse experience but wants to develop it further, or someone who just fancies a change in direction! This role is a 6 month FTC.
The day to day role will involve:
- Scanning, wrapping and palletising products.
- Performing final quality checks on products.
- Using electric pallet trucks, counterbalance and reach vehicles.
- Recording and rotating chilled food products.
- Ensuring paperwork and delivery orders are completed and recorded.
What can we offer you?
- £13.21 per hour (paid weekly) + £2.00 UNS for hours worked between 18:00 and 06:00.
