Responsibilities
- Follow instructions on a daily basis from the Process Leader to maintain an effective process.
- Carry out common and procedural machine interventions.
- Ensure that the metal detectors are operational and report defects where identified.
- Complete all label check sheets in accordance with procedure.
- Prepare the line for effective product and/or tool change overs.
- Provide preventative maintenance for labeling equipment, ensuring all printouts are clean.
- Ensure smooth and correct line operation.
- Follow instructions from the Engineering Section Manager for out‑of‑production work to maintain machinery.
- Ensure the line does not run until all standards are met, check sheets are signed and authorization is given.
- Counter‑sign all label check sheets and confirm they are completed in accordance with procedure.
- Provide preventative maintenance on all equipment.
Qualifications
- Excellent level of English and basic numeracy skills.
- Passion for rebuilding, inspecting and correcting mechanical issues.
- Ability to work closely with other departments including Engineering and Production.
- Ability to strip and rebuild mechanical items.
- Previous experience is ideal.
