About the Role: We're looking for a Skilled Operative to join our team at our site in Wednesbury. Working Hours Monday-Friday 07:00-16:00.
As a Skilled Operative you will be working as part of the Production Team, conducting checks, documenting and recording against company procedures to legal compliance in food manufacturing at site.
- Carrying out finished product weight checks against a scheduled frequency to ensure legal compliance.
- Carrying out label checks against a scheduled frequency to ensure legal compliance.
- Setting up printers including date coding on pack, correctly for each product run, against customer guidelines.
- Maintain traceability of ingredients, raw material and finished product to ensure product due diligence.
- Stock control enforcement, including managing fixed and WIP stock, reviewing paperwork and identifying any close to use by and out of use by material, to report to Section Manager.
- Carrying out product temperature checks against a scheduled frequency to ensure legal compliance and due diligence.
- Check QUID values against declared, on a scheduled frequency to ensure legal compliance.
- Record all rework reasons for report produced by Production Manager.
