Working Hours:
18 per week, 06:00-16:00 Saturday and Sunday
About the role:
As production operative you’ll be involved in the production and packaging of raw food products. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.
Duties include:
- Weighing, assembling and packing products ready for despatch.
- Labelling and grading of products
- Manual handling which can include lifting equipment and products up to 20kg
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
- The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
- Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
- Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
