We are recruiting for a Cratewash / Despatch operative to join our team in Hereford., As a Cratewash operative you will be responsible for achieving hygiene standards in your area, helping the team to meet the high standard of hygiene required for Avara Foods. Working Hours 0700-1900/1900-0700 - 3 on 2 off / Days & Nights Benefit £13.15 per hour plus shift allowance £1.23 Your key responsibilities will include:
- To fully understand and comply with all department and company policies and guidelines
- To meet housekeeping and hygiene standards individually and as part of a team
- Compliance with food safety and HSE guidelinesSupporting Cratewash duties and site improvements
- Complete all relevant paperwork to ensure traceability in the event of a process problem/issue.
- Ensure stock is correctly rotated.
- Complete schedule to supply crates and pallets
- Co-operate in the continuous improvement of quality, safety and productivity standards.
- Handling/lifting of crates averaging 18kg Communication and working as part of a team (essential)
- NVQ Level 2 in Food Manufacturing (desirable)
- Basic Food Hygiene certificate (desirable)
- Manual Handling training (desirable)
- Pallet Truck Licence (desirable)
- Fork Lift Truck Licence (desirable)
