As a Hygiene Operative you will play a key part in ensuring the cleanliness, hygiene, quality and safety standards meet our normally high levels. You will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning of all factory equipment and machinery.
- Use of pressure washers and chemicals.
- Removal of debris and discarded products.
- Achieving agreed quality standards.
- Following relevant training and CIC's to ensure safe and efficient cleaning.
- Manual handling which can include lifting equipment and products up to 20kg.
Qualifications:
- Good level of English and basic numeracy skills.
- The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
- Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks.
- Previous experience in a similar hygiene/manufacturing role would be beneficial.

- Additional £2.00 shift allowance per hour for weekend hours.
