Please note: This is a fixed-term, part-time position of 13 hours per week, with the contract ending in August 2027

What will you do?

Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive Philosophy/PRE teaching that challenges and inspires pupils while building on their prior knowledge, needs and abilities.Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, providing effective feedback and using relevant data to support attainment and set ambitious learning goals.Establish a safe, respectful and purposeful learning environment, maintaining high expectations for behaviour and safeguarding the welfare of all pupils.Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external partners to support pupils’ academic progress, wellbeing and wider development, while contributing positively to the life and ethos of the school.Reflect on and develop professional practice through collaboration, training and continuous professional development, in line with the Teacher Standards and school expectations.

What are we looking for?

• Qualified to bachelor’s degree level in relevant or allied subject
• QTS qualified
• Able to self-start, work independently and collaboratively as part of a team- whether led or leading
• Clear vision and understanding of how to implement and sustain a high-quality teaching and learning
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to delegate
• Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students
