Senior Electronics Engineer needed for a tight-knit R+D company in Somerset. You'll work on a range of low-current, high-voltage power electronic systems (up to 30,000v), taking them through the full product development life-cycle, and working with some of the biggest names in their industry.
What we're looking for:
- 5 years+ experience of electronics design/development in a relevant industry
- Power electronics, AC-DC and DC-DC switching converter design
- Analogue circuit design, including interfacing with DACs and ADCs
- Schematic Capture and PCB design using Altium (or similar)
- Ability to manage own work and supervision of other engineers within multidisciplinary development teams
- Knowledge of design for EMC at both PCB level and electrical product level.
Desirable:
- High-voltage electronics
- Embedded software development (bare-metal, C)
- FPGA programming (VHDL)
