Avanti Recruitment is working with an innovative AI-powered creative technology company with offices in Oxford and London. We are hiring a Full Stack Developer who can work as a Product Engineer, owning features end to end. You'll be building products that use the latest generative AI technologies to transform how stories and video content are created. This includes integrating LLMs, image generation and video generation technologies into real-world production workflows.
We're looking for a strong software engineer who enjoys building and shipping great products, with AI providing an interesting technical environment to work within.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years' commercial software development experience
- 3+ years' React experience
- Strong backend development with Node.js and/or Python
- Experience owning features from requirements through to production
- Good DevOps and CI/CD knowledge
- Docker experience
- Commercial cloud experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
- Strong automated testing experience, including Jest/Mocha and ideally Cypress, BrowserStack or similar
- Excellent JavaScript fundamentals
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with TypeScript, SaaS/startups, generative AI APIs, creative technology, Unix/Linux or Bash are all very useful.
You'll join a small, highly technical team building creative AI products and take genuine ownership across the stack. You'll work on everything from React interfaces and backend services through to third-party AI integrations, deployment and production.
Salary: £60,000 to £70,000
Location: Oxford or London, hybrid with approximately 1 day per week in the office.
