Avanti Recruitment is working with a highly respected Precision Engineering business supplying into advanced manufacturing sectors including defence, nuclear and scientific industries. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong engineering and commercial background who enjoys technically varied work and wants to play a key role within a collaborative manufacturing environment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing customer enquiries and preparing accurate quotations for complex machined components and assemblies.
  • Producing quotations from engineering drawings and CAD models.
  • Liaising with customers on technical and commercial matters.
  • Following projects through manufacture where required.
  • Supporting process improvements and commercial efficiencies.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of machining and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong communication and commercial skills.
  • Candidates with practical machining or CNC manufacturing backgrounds who have moved into estimating or commercial engineering roles would be particularly well suited.

Long-term career development is supported.

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.
