A global engineering and infrastructure organisation is seeking an experienced Plant Production Manager to lead shift-based manufacturing teams within a highly specialised industrial production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong operational leader with experience managing people, driving production performance, and maintaining high Health & Safety and quality standards within manufacturing.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage shift-based production teams
  • Ensure production targets and schedules are achieved
  • Drive Health & Safety and Quality compliance
  • Manage performance, absence, investigations, and disciplinary processes
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Monitor operational KPIs and team performance
  • Coordinate with engineering, quality, maintenance, and support teams
  • Coach and develop production staff

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven manufacturing or industrial production management experience
  • Strong people management capability

Package: ~£60,000 - £68,000 salary, ~12.5% bonus, ~£6,120 car allowance, ~37.5-hour working week, ~4-day shift rotation, ~Long midweek breaks.

Shift Pattern: Days (Friday to Monday 07:00 - 17:30), Nights (Friday to Monday 19:00 - 05:30, Tuesday to Thursday off).
