Avanti is working with a fintech hiring a Product Engineer in London that's rebuilding its entire engineering model around AI-native execution. Not "we use Copilot now." Actually rethinking how software gets built.
What You'll Actually Do
- Ship complete features weekly - discovery, build, test, live release. One week, start to finish.
- Use Claude as your primary execution partner across the whole stack - context engineering, agent workflows, the lot.
- Sit with real users. Understand the problem Monday, get feedback on what you built by Friday.
- Work in a small co-located team with a PM and customers in the room - minimal handoffs, no ticket queues.
- Mentor junior engineers on AI-native development and help pull the whole team forward.
You Are
- ~3-4 years in and already AI-native - not "I use Cursor sometimes" but genuinely can't imagine going back.
- ~ T-shaped enough to move across frontend, backend, and deployment without stopping to ask permission.
- ~ More interested in outcomes than code quality theatre.
- ~ Comfortable talking to customers because that's how you build things that work.
- ~ Probably frustrated at how slowly your current place moves.
This Isn't For You If
- ~ You think context engineering means writing better comments.
- ~ "That's a PM decision" is a sentence you say often.
- ~ You want to specialise deeper into one layer of the stack.
- ~ You need sign-off before shipping.
The Details
- Location: London, 3 days/week in-office.
- Stack: TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python.
- Interview: Call, then a short build session with the team. Fast turnaround.
Apply for immediate consideration.
