Responsibilities
- Support the Examinations Officer with the set‑up, organisation and smooth running of all examination sessions.
- Ensure exam materials are distributed correctly and maintain candidate registers, seating plans and attendance records.
- Supervise candidates throughout examinations, maintaining a calm, secure, and fair testing environment in line with JCQ regulations.
- Manage any queries, irregularities, or late arrivals appropriately, following exam procedures at all times.
- Collect, collate, and return examination papers securely, ensuring venues are left tidy and ready for the next session.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience working or studying in a higher education environment.
- Understanding of examination processes.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills – clear and concise, both orally and in writing.
- Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of all students.
- Ability to maintain a calm, secure, and fair testing environment.
