We’re working with a well-established and growing organisation looking to hire a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of their core infrastructure environment. This is a hands-on, senior-level role focused on designing, building, and improving infrastructure rather than simply supporting existing systems. You’ll work closely with the Head of Technology and act as a key technical lead within the team, playing a key role in both day-to-day operations and longer-term improvements.

The Role

This position is centred around ownership and delivery. You will take responsibility for both the network and server environment, acting as a senior escalation point while also driving improvements across the estate.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing infrastructure solutions
  • Owning network and server environments
  • Acting as an escalation point for complex technical issues
  • Supporting and guiding other team members
  • Driving continuous improvements across a largely on-prem environment

Alongside this, there are several upcoming projects which will provide strong technical exposure, including a network refresh, improvements to backup and disaster recovery, a telephony rollout across multiple sites, and longer-term cloud initiatives.
