Junior Ruby Developer – Remote – £40K
Avanti is working with a software company that provides a SaaS product and is looking for a Junior Ruby Developer to help revolutionize the procurement industry with their cutting-edge SaaS platform.
They have been going for over 8 years now and have grown the team to 8 developers and are now looking to add a talented junior developer to the team. They are a leading technology company streamlining procurement processes for businesses of all sizes. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in a supportive environment.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic second role for a developer looking to take the next step in their career. You'll work closely with an experienced Ruby Developer who regularly gives talks at Ruby events and will provide hands-on mentorship to help you develop your skills. You'll contribute to enhancing and maintaining our industry-leading SaaS platform while learning best practices and advancing your technical abilities.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of commercial Ruby on Rails experience
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript
- Familiarity with SQL databases
- Eagerness to learn and develop your skills
- Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
