A successful UK-based travel company is investing in its digital future and we’re looking for an IT Project Manager to play a central role in that transformation. This position is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of operations and technology, helping teams work smarter by redesigning outdated processes and enabling the systems to support them.
If you’re experienced in process analysis, project delivery, and cross-functional collaboration—and want to make a real impact inside a business that’s ready for change—this is your opportunity.
The Opportunity
You’ll take the lead on process and system transformation initiatives—starting by working with various departments to understand how things work today. From there, you’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders and developers to identify areas for improvement, propose and shape new workflows, and support the implementation of digital tools that drive those changes forward. This isn’t a role for someone who only manages timelines and trackers—you’ll be central to what gets built and why, helping the company shift from paper-heavy operations to integrated, intelligent systems.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with teams across the business to document current operational processes and understand pain points.
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or risks in how work gets done, and propose better ways forward.
- Translate business needs into practical process improvements, some enabled by technology, others by simplification or redesign.
- Collaborate with tech teams (internal and offshore) to shape and deliver supporting systems.
- Act as a bridge between stakeholders, ensuring solutions reflect real needs and gain buy-in.
- Help embed new processes into the organisation through training, communication, and ongoing support.
- Support continuous improvement across operations, not just one-off projects.
Your Profile
- Proven experience in process-focused transformation roles: Technical Project Manager, Implementation Lead, or Senior Business Analyst.
- Confident working cross-functionally and building trust across a range of teams.
- Skilled in end-to-end process review and redesign, with a pragmatic mindset (not wedded to rigid methodologies).
- Comfortable with technology and systems thinking—you don’t need to write code, but you should understand how platforms work and integrate.
- Independent, hands-on, and results-driven—able to operate with autonomy while collaborating effectively.
- Naturally inquisitive and unafraid to challenge 'we’ve always done it this way' thinking.
Desirable Extras
- Familiarity with operational functions such as logistics, bookings, call centres, or customer service.
- Exposure to CRM, ERP, or case management systems.
- Background in travel, transport, or tourism sectors.
- Formal training or certification in Lean, Agile, or project delivery (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2).
What’s on Offer
- 22-25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Additional paid day off for your Birthday and Christmas Eve.
- Up to 5 extra days off to participate in internal travel programs, with a financial allowance.
- Option to buy additional holiday days.
- Salary reviews and progression support.
- Hybrid working model—blend of in-office collaboration and remote delivery.
- Friendly, evolving work environment focused on improvement and modernisation.
If you’re ready to be the person who makes meaningful change happen—and want to join a company with history, purpose, and momentum—then we’d love to hear from you.
