Avanti Recruitment is working with a highly respected Precision Engineering business supplying into advanced manufacturing sectors including defence, nuclear and scientific industries. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong engineering and commercial background who enjoys technically varied work and wants to play a key role within a collaborative manufacturing environment. The business specialises in low-volume, high-complexity precision engineering work, so this role would suit someone who enjoys problem-solving, variety and working closely with both customers and manufacturing teams.

You will be responsible for reviewing customer enquiries and preparing accurate quotations for complex machined components and assemblies.

Responsibilities
  • Producing quotations from engineering drawings and CAD models
  • Reviewing manufacturing methods and estimating production costs
  • Liaising with customers on technical and commercial matters
  • Supporting tenders and new business opportunities
  • Working closely with production and engineering teams
  • Following projects through manufacture where required
  • Supporting process improvements and commercial efficiencies
