Avanti Recruitment is working with a growing digital technology agency in Colchester who are looking for a Full-Stack Developer with a strong front-end focus to join their collaborative development team. The business is currently moving toward modern technologies such as Svelte and Astro, but commercial experience with those frameworks is not essential. They are much more interested in strong front-end fundamentals, adaptability, and developers who enjoy learning.
What You'll Be Doing
- Building modern, responsive front-end interfaces
- Working with TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Developing APIs and backend functionality
- Working with cloud-based systems and services
- Collaborating closely with designers using Figma
- Working across varied client projects in an agile environment
- Contributing to modern front-end architecture and performance optimisation
What They're Looking For
- Strong JavaScript or TypeScript experience
- Experience with a modern front-end framework such as React, Angular, Vue, Svelte or Astro
- Experience working with APIs and backend systems
- Experience with at least one backend language or framework such as: C# /.NET / Node.js / Python / PHP / Java
- Good HTML, CSS, SCSS or Tailwind knowledge
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn new technologies
